Why is it called Face Yoga?
Face Yoga embodies all the principles of Yoga: self-awareness, relaxation, positivity, breathing, meditation. The different poses in Face Yoga are designed to relax your face and then strengthen your face muscles to erase wrinkles and give your face a natural lift.
How often do I need to practice?
As with any exercise, consistency is key. A recommended schedule is 10 minutes in the morning to do a few moves in front of your mirror and 10 minutes before bed. You can also set aside a longer period of time once-a-day to do a full-face routine. The important thing is to start somewhere….even one move a day as you build Face Yoga into your daily routine! Best results come from daily practice.
Do some Face Yoga poses actually make more wrinkles?
No. Wrinkles are formed by repetitive facial movements over a long period of time. Short exercises will not form more wrinkles, plus there are “counter-moves” to release each area after a pose.
How can I get long lasting results?
Wrinkles are caused by repetitive motion, gravity, sagging muscles, tense muscles, and loss of collagen. Daily face yoga will maintain long lasting results through facial massage to relax the muscles and poses that keep the face muscles lifted. A good collagen replacement will help keep skin elastic, firm and smooth. Of course, I recommend liquid biocell collagen!
